With support for many popular plug-ins from Denis Pontoneir, db-w, Mass Digital (Starpro), Otoy (Octane), Kray-Tracing (Kray3), Liberty3D.com (UberCam), Jawset.com (TurbulenceFD) and more, the LFS (LightForge Service) is more than just another renderfarm.
It was built by LightWavers for LightWavers, first.
Our service features both in application (LightWave3D Layout) based scene packaging and launching through an open-source Python plug-in/script. We also include a desktop application for loading and controlling render jobs with image preview as frames complete, returning renders directly to your system or NAS.
Image sequences, OpenVDB, Alembic, MDD, PFX, are supported out of the box along with IES Lights for both Octane and LightWave3D native render engines.
We are constantly working on enhancements for its use in production, big or small and is great for studios!
We allow for the creation of users under a studio account so as to keep your rendering budget under control. You can create a "render manager" account easily and provide them access so as to send and control jobs while restricting their ability to purchase render credits. Studio account holders can also monitor jobs and job history through our website without having the need to run the desktop application.
